New Cineplex Coming Soon to Searcy, Arkansas

Thank you for all of the response about us building a new theater in Searcy. Let me put the rumors to rest... Weber Theaters is building a top of the line multi-plex theater in Searcy. Here are some of the features the theater will have:

42 inch high back reclining dual cup seats
DTS surround sound
Party room
Game room

**All theaters will have stadium seating**
The theater plan we are using compared to the other compitition located in Searcy has no comparison at all. Our specials can not and will not be beat in Searcy or Cabot. We will not be beat!

We have purchased the land behind Orr Toyota. We have a company that only specializes in stadium seating multi-plex theaters handling our construction needs. Like other theaters in town, Weber Theaters will not charge a staduim seating price that only half the people are getting. We will have all of the theaters stadium seating.

Once again Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, for all of your support!

Victor, Todd, Tori and Jordan Weber,Tonya and Fritz Schidwieller.

The Rialto - Searcy, Arkansas
100 W. Race | (501) 268-6699

Opened in 1923 and remodeled with splashy neon lighting in the 1940s, it is one of only a few historic theaters that maintains a daily schedule, with matinees on weekends.

The first theater in Searcy, the Grand, was on the corner of Spring and Race Streets.

It was torn down in 1923 and reopened Nov. 13, 1928, as the "Rialto," and the first show featured music synchronized to a silent drama, an Orchestrola.

In 1931, the theater installed a unit that "forced air through water flowing down tubes on the roof like an auto radiator," creating a cool breeze in the summer months and the owners advertised the theater as "Where the Typhoon Breezes Blow."

The Rialto features new carpets and a clean concession along with cheap concession prices. The bathrooms have been remodeled and the heat and air units have been replaced - All to make your movie-going experience even better!

The Rialto is owned by the City of Searcy and operated by Weber Theaters
